We had an idea to show the sheer size of the clients 'Big Grip' which are used to drop cables off the back of ships onto the sea bed. We built a set to resemble an oil rig scene with a hard hat for scale. As the client hadn't repllied to the emailed image, I called " Oh yes a good shot, we have just had an enquiry from Japan about that item and emailed your image, the customer has ordered 6K worth". 
The customer had never bought the item from the SKU code and didn't realize the dimensions of the product. No matter how many times you list the product or how well it is described an image will always out sell.
